Biography

Jeff Coons practices in the area of trust and estate litigation, representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries in disputes involving will and trust contests, elder abuse, contested powers of attorney, and related issues.

Prior to joining Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP, Jeff practiced at a Bay Area boutique trust litigation firm from 2018 to 2021 and for more than 17 years at national and regional law firms where he represented clients in complex civil litigation matters involving personal injury, toxic tort, environmental, and asbestos cases. As a research analyst for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jeff advised Fortune 500 telecommunications companies on regulatory issues and process re-engineering related to mergers and acquisitions. He is also a former senior consultant advising global energy and telecommunications corporations on internet and business systems.
