Biography

Moon-Hwan "Moon" Kim is an Associate Attorney in the Trusts and Estates Litigation Department at Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP. Prior to joining JKZ, Moon developed a wealth of litigation experience in various areas, including general civil business litigation, contested family law custody disputes, trust and estate litigation and contested conservatorship matters, and defense against federal ADA claims. Moon possesses skillsets to navigate the complexities of civil procedure - law and motion practice and is capable of handling complex discovery matters.

Moon also has much decorative experience in public office. After graduating from Saint Mary's College of California, Moon worked as a secretary at the Vice-Speaker's Office of the National Assembly of Korea and finished his military service as a First Lieutenant of the Republic of Korea Air Force in Osan, Korea.

Moon is admitted to practice before all California state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Moon earned his J.D. in 2014 from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California, and received his B.A. in 2002 from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California.

Moon currently lives in San Francisco with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new cooking recipes, discovering hidden restaurants in the city, and spending time with his family.
