Carlos Rodriguez is the Managing Paralegal in the Estate Planning, Probate/Trust Administration, and Tax Department at Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP.
Carlos is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He began his work in the legal field in 2005 as a file clerk at a previous boutique law firm in San Francisco where he was soon made a paralegal where he gained estate planning, trust administration and litigation experience.
Carlos has nearly two decades of legal experience. He has taken a leadership role within the Firm to help new employees develop the skills necessary to succeed in the legal field. He is responsible for researching new programs and systems that will assist the Firm in providing the best service for their clients.
Originally from Long Beach, California, Carlos is actively involved in his neighborhood in Oakland as a board member of the Allendale Park Community Council, which is responsible for a number of safety and beautification projects as well as activities to promote community togetherness. In his spare time, Carlos enjoys working in the small woodworking shop he has set up in his garage, as well as working out at his local CrossFit gym with his wife.
